Botswana

The Last Eden

Exclusive, remote and teeming with wildlife, Botswana is one of Africa's Last Eden. An abundance of elephant, rhinos and free-roaming big cats dominate the scenes in the Okavango Delta and the vast Kalahari Desert where following the rains, a great concentration of herbivores migrate from the Okavango Delta and Chobe River to the deserts of the Kalahari and the lunar landscape of the Makgadikgadi Pans offering a mesmerizing safari experience.

WHY BOTSWANA?

A sensible government strategy driving at low impact, high revenue allows wildlife to flourish in its untamed landscapes and pristine environments offering a high quality and density of game viewing. It helps as well that Botswana adopts a shoot to kill policy to fight wildlife poaching.

WHEN TO GO?

April to May marks the beginning of the flooding of the Okavango Delta as well as in the peak of the annual Zebra migration while June to October represents the dry winter season where the herds of wildlife gather around diminishing water spots.
