Kalahari & Makgadikgadi Pans
The largest and most remote game reserve in Southern Africa, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve spans over an area of more than 52,000 square metres in a region blessed for its unending space solitude and sense of mystique. Wide and empty pans appear as vast white stretches of saucer-flat earth, meeting a soft, blue-white sky. At night the stars utterly dominate the land; their brilliance and immediacy are totally arresting.
